Built from the Ubuntu 26.04 source base.

  • Using this repository enables installation of packages released in subsequent V4.0.x versions, such as V4.0.1.
  • To download source packages, change Types: deb to Types: deb deb-src.

LXQt Desktop​

  • Fixed transient spikes in CPU usage displayed by GNOME System Monitor (gnome-system-monitor).

Bianbu Core Components​

  • Fixed an issue where UEFI firmware OTA updates booted abnormally.
  • Fixed an issue where the system could not boot normally after the UEFI firmware ran update-grub.
  • Fixed an issue where adbd disconnected unexpectedly after a bus reset.

LXQt Desktop​

  • Fixed an issue where quickly clicking the snapshot shutter button caused window maximization.
  • Fixed an issue where the backlight plugin would freeze when brightness control was unavailable.
  • Fixed issues in lxqt-session including reset failure, unreasonable delete button behavior, and abnormal scrolling behavior.
  • Fixed an issue where the network applet window could not be dragged after removing the title bar.
  • Updated Chinese translations for Ethernet and Wi-Fi settings.

  • Fixed black screen issue after wlroots suspend.
  • Fixed an issue where the Ethernet connection list occasionally displayed duplicate wired network connections.

  • Added session settings.
  • Fixed an issue in multi-display configurations where status bar pop-ups were displayed in incorrect positions.

  • Fixed an issue where mpv video playback would stall after the system resumed from suspend.
  • Fixed reliability issues occurring after repeated suspend/resume cycles in some modules.
  • Fixed an issue where LXQt displayed a black screen after repeated suspend/resume cycles.
  • Fixed an issue where System Monitor exited unexpectedly after selecting a CPU color.
  • Fixed a Type-C compatibility issue that prevented the K3 Pico board from booting.
  • Fixed a black screen issue during K3 Pico OTA updates.

  • The in-house bianbu-control-center adds new modules for Language & Region, Desktop Settings, Notification Settings, Software Updates, and About.
  • Status bar notifications default to Do Not Disturb mode.
  • snapshot, VLC media player, Zed, and GNOME System Monitor are installed by default. cheese is no longer included in the default installation.
